Rabbi Adrienne Rubin

Princeton, NJ
Rabbi Adrienne Rubin has been bringing meaning into people’s lives at synagogues for over 30 years, focusing on making Jewish liturgy and culture accessible through traditional melodies and education. She has served as the Cantorial Soloist at Temple Micah in Lawrenceville, NJ, for over 20 years. A trained opera singer, she is well-known for bringing beautiful music to services and enjoys leading worship in a way that encourages members of the congregation to participate. She also works privately with families preparing for Bar or Bat Mitzvah or desiring a customized, individualized religious school curriculum. She is passionate about helping students and young people find their own personal connection with Judaism. In addition to B'nei Mitzvah and religious education, she works with teens to continue their Jewish journeys through Torah Study and Confirmation programs.

Rabbi Adrienne is also an active volunteer and nonprofit professional. She serves as the Chair of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce's Central NJ Nonprofit Council and Nonprofit Business Partnership and is on the Board of Send Hunger Packing Princeton, which helps children who are food insecure. Her past leadership includes serving as Executive Director of two Princeton-area nonprofits and Director of Finance for a national foundation, as well as managing alumni class affairs and reunions for Princeton University and The Lawrenceville School. Rabbi Adrienne has given presentations and classes on volunteer management, events management, marketing and public relations for nonprofits, board management and data maintenance
